About POTS compression
Living with POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, also written PoTS) can mean that standing in a queue or a long day on your feet takes far more out of you than it should. Supacore's POTS compression leggings and shorts are built on CORETECH®, our patented medical-grade compression technology, and deliver 25+ mmHg graduated compression through the legs and abdomen to encourage blood flow back to the heart and reduce blood pooling.
The difference is in the waistband. The patented CORETECH® waistband has a built-in sacroiliac belt and back brace that stabilises the pelvis and supports the core, so you get abdominal, pelvic and leg compression in one seamless garment, without a separate abdominal binder. Every pair is circular-knitted with no rubbing seams, moisture-wicking and breathable, so you can wear it all day at home, at work or during light exercise.
Supacore garments are a Class I medical device registered with the TGA (ARTG 372670), so you may be able to claim through your private health fund's Extras cover, and many self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants use their plans to buy them. Supacore is proud to support the Australian POTS Foundation and is an official supplier to The Ehlers-Danlos Society.
Choose full-length leggings for the most leg coverage, the extra-high-waisted Meryl for more abdominal support, or Mary, Clara and Nina shorts for warmer days. Free shipping from A$199, ships worldwide, with 30-day free returns and free size exchanges. Shopping for a man? See Men's POTS.

Frequently asked questions
What compression level are Supacore POTS leggings?
Supacore's women's POTS leggings deliver 25+ mmHg of medical-grade graduated compression through the legs and abdomen. The Mary and Clara shorts are rated at 25 mmHg plus. It's firm compression, so expect them to take a few wears to get used to.
Why should POTS compression cover the abdomen, not just the legs?
In POTS, blood can pool in the abdomen as well as the legs when you stand, so many people look for compression that covers both. Supacore's POTS guide cites a 2014 study (Heyer, Journal of Pediatrics) in which abdominal and lower-limb compression decreased POTS symptoms in young people during tilt-table testing. CORETECH® leggings combine abdominal, pelvic and leg compression in one garment.
Are leggings or shorts better for POTS?
Leggings cover the full leg as well as the abdomen and pelvis, so they are the usual first choice for POTS. Shorts like Mary, Clara and Nina focus compression on the core, pelvis and upper thighs, and suit warmer days or wearing under work clothes.
Can I claim Supacore POTS leggings on private health insurance or the NDIS?
Supacore CORETECH® garments are a Class I medical device registered with the TGA (ARTG 372670), and members of funds such as Medibank, Bupa, HCF, nib and HBF may be able to claim under Extras cover that includes medical compression garments. Ask your treating practitioner to complete Supacore's Health Fund Rebate Form. Supacore isn't a registered NDIS provider, but many self-managed and plan-managed participants have claimed; email NDIS@supacore.com for an invoice.
How do I choose the right size of POTS leggings?
Use the Women's CORETECH® Size Guide, which sizes by height and weight rather than your usual clothing size. Medical-grade compression should be a neat, tight fit without cutting off circulation. If the size isn't right, Supacore exchanges it free within 30 days of your order, provided it's unworn with tags attached.
How do I put on POTS compression leggings?
Sit down and roll each leg up like a stocking: over the calves, then the knees, then the thighs, and finally over the pelvis. Don't pull them up by the waistband, because the compression is firm and they won't budge that way.
Does Supacore make POTS compression for men?
Yes. The Men's POTS collection includes the body-mapped Carl legging for POTS and recovery (20-25 mmHg, A$179) and men's CORETECH® shorts and leggings such as Lionel "Xtra" and David.
