We're proud to announce Our partnership with Melbourne Storm
Melbourne Storm partners with Sports Tech disruptor Supacore.
Australia’s most successful rugby league club Melbourne Storm has signed a two-year contract with Supacore Sportstech Compression.
"We are looking forward to working with Supacore over the next two years and are pleased with the innovation Supacore brings to the table. Supacore has a proven track record with injury recovery and prevention” - says Storm Chief Commercial Officer Ben Dunn.
Supacore, founded in Melbourne Australia, has most recently had international success in Europe providing their technology to football clubs Celtic, Arsenal, QPR, Chelsea, and Southampton, in Thailand with football team Bangkok Glass and also with Australian football club Perth Glory.
Supacore CEO Michel Abeysekera says:
“We're pleased to see the traction we have had both in Europe and Australia. We are looking forward to working with our home team Melbourne Storm over the next two years. This will give us an opportunity to test our innovation pipeline with the club as well”.
Storm Director of Performance Lachlan Penfold says:
“After an initial trial period we found that the technology helped the squad with recovery and in particular the patented Coretech technology which will speed up recovery from injury and assist the players to remain on the park.”
Supacore's patented CORETECH seamless shorts and leggings can improve core stability and assist in the recovery from hamstring, lower back and groin related injuries including Osteitis Pubis and other overuse injuries.
The range consists of seamless compression garments which have a unique body mapped Ribtech (R) technology which mimics kinesiology taping techniques and provides a gentle massage to key muscles whilst the body is in motion.
