About Men's POTS Compression
POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, also written PoTS) is often thought of as a women's condition, but plenty of men live with it too, and standing still, long shifts or a hot day can leave you light-headed and drained. Supacore's men's POTS compression leggings and shorts are built on CORETECH®, our patented medical-grade compression technology, with graduated compression through the legs and abdomen to encourage blood flow back to the heart and reduce blood pooling.
The difference is in the waistband. The patented CORETECH® waistband has a built-in sacroiliac belt and back brace that stabilises the pelvis and supports the core, so you get abdominal, pelvic and leg compression in one seamless garment. The body-mapped Carl legging delivers 20 to 25 mmHg, and the Lionel and Lionel "Xtra" shorts deliver firm 25 mmHg compression through the core, pelvis and upper thighs. Every pair is circular-knitted with no rubbing seams, moisture-wicking and breathable, so you can wear it at work, around the house or at the gym.
Supacore garments are a Class I medical device registered with the TGA (ARTG 372670), so in Australia you may be able to claim through your private health fund's Extras cover, and many self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants use their plans to buy them. Supacore is proud to support the Australian POTS Foundation. Compression can help manage symptoms but is not a cure, so check with your healthcare provider, especially if you have other conditions.
Choose the Carl legging or David leggings for full leg coverage, or Lionel shorts for warmer days and wearing under work clothes. Free shipping from A$199, ships worldwide, with 30-day free returns and free size exchanges. Shopping for a woman? See Women's POTS.

Frequently asked questions
What compression level are Supacore men's POTS garments?
The body-mapped Carl legging delivers 20 to 25 mmHg of graduated compression, and the Lionel and Lionel "Xtra" CORETECH® shorts deliver firm 25 mmHg compression. Medical-grade compression feels firm, so expect a few wears to get used to it.
Why use leggings rather than socks for POTS?
Blood can pool in the thighs and abdomen as well as the lower legs. Leggings compress from ankle to waist, including the abdomen, which socks cannot do.
Are leggings or shorts better for men with POTS?
Leggings cover the full leg as well as the abdomen and pelvis, so they are the usual first choice. Lionel shorts focus compression on the core, pelvis and upper thighs and suit warmer days or wearing under work clothes.
How do I choose my size?
Supacore compression is sized by height and weight, not your usual pants size, because the compression is medical grade. Use the size guide on each product page. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.
Can I claim Supacore POTS compression on health insurance or the NDIS?
Supacore CORETECH® garments are a Class I medical device registered with the TGA (ARTG 372670). In Australia, members of many private health funds may be able to claim under Extras cover that includes medical compression garments, and many self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants have claimed. Outside Australia, check with your insurer.
Do you ship worldwide and can I return items?
Yes. Supacore ships worldwide, with free shipping from A$199. Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days for unworn items with tags, with free return shipping and free size exchanges.
